Then the next thing you need to do or learn is to know the parts of the guitar. Because, in order to learn how to play the guitar, you need to know the basics first especially the parts and terminologies that are used so you will understand when your guitar teacher is saying something about the guitar or if you're using YouTube tutorials, then you have the background knowledge about the guitar.
After learning the parts of the guitar, you will need to know how to hold your guitar. Because not only for comfort and ease of use but also for your health and safety. Like wrong posture or position can cause injuries or damage to your back, wrist and fingers.
Lesson 1. It's time to learn your first chord. The easiest and simplest chord is Em.
Lesson 2. Learn how to strum the guitar. We will use the Em chord as this is your first chord as well as the most easiest chord to use.
Lesson 3. Learning new chord which is E Major chord. This is a variation to the Em chord and it's just adding one finger to the chord. Also it's good to learn the difference between minor and major chord in terms of sound. Also you will be learning about Time Signature and timing in this video.
Lesson 4. Learning a new chord which is A minor and then learning how to change chords whilst strumming. This video is about transition from one chord to another.
