Converted this Gear4Music Left-handed single cutaway electroacoustic to right-handed

My friend Bekka bought this lovely Gear4Music single cutaway electroacoustic which is left-handed because she wants to learn to play the guitar and she is left handed. But when it arrived, it took awhile for her to play it. Then after about a month, I asked her about her new guitar and if she has started to learn or play it. So I asked her to hold the guitar and we found out she was holding it the wrong way around. And then I told her, try and hold my guitar which is a right-handed guitar and yup, she feels more comfortable holding a right-handed guitar rather than left. So we decided to modify her guitar.

So this is just a quick fix, a hack if I might use the word.  What I did was remove the strings and then swapped it around. By the way, I used my spare Fender gauge 10 Phosphor Bronze. Then I turned the bridge saddle the other way around. And last but not the least, I filed the nut to accommodate strings number 6 and 5. I might add that I also clean the fretboard with my Dunlop Conditioner 02. Plus I sanded the frets because it was a bit sharp.  And that's it.  I can now also use Bekka's guitar.

My thoughts on this electroacoustic guitar by Gear4Music is that it looks beautiful and it sounds beautiful. When I turned the bridge saddle around, I found out that there a pickup underneath it. The 4 band EQ consist of bass, mid, treble and presence. Then a volume knob and a battery check button. It doesnt come with a tuner. Good thing I got a clip on tuner from Lekato. The sound of the guitar when it's not plugged in is also pretty decent. It made a difference when I put on that Fender Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings. One of the downside is the action, it's a bit high. But if you know someone who can setup the guitar or pay a professional to setup the guitar, then this guitar got lots of potential.

If you're looking to buy your first electroacoustic guitar that is affordable but sounded and looks great, I would definitely recommend this one.
