My two speaker cabs that I used during gig Celestion VT Jr10 and HH Invader 10

My DIY speaker cab that I used during gig. I loaded this one with Celestion VT Jr 10 inch, 50 watts, 8 Ohms speaker. The cab is a wine box that I bought on ebay. Then re-inforced it using the spare wood from my previous Laney DIY speaker cab.

It sounded great during gig. But I was thinking that the speaker is a very good quality and almost brand new, I dont want it to get ruined or damaged because it's not protected by the grille cloth. So I swapped it from my other speaker cab which is an HH Invader 10 inch, 30 watts, 8 ohms speaker.

This was our gig where I used this unloaded Gear4Music Subzero G110, loaded with the HH Invader 10 inch, 30 watts, 8 ohms speaker. It survived the gig and it sounded great. But I feel like I bought this speaker second hand and super bargain price that I think it's fine in my DIY speaker cab. So I ended up swapping the speakers.

So what do you think guys? Is it fair that the pricey speaker goes to the cab that's more secure and the other one in this DIY speaker cab. Anyways, they both sounded great even before swapping and after swapping.

Let me know your thoughts on these two speaker cab. Cheers!
